First Destination: Quba Mosque

It is the first mosque in Islam. The Prophet (ﷺ) with his own blessed hands, laid the foundation stone of the mosque, which was built by the emigrants and the helpers (ansar). Allah extolled this mosque and mentioned its virtues in the everlasting Qur'an, "A mosque founded on righteousness from the first day is more worthy for you to stand in." (9:108) more

It is a historical mosque built on a site where the Prophet (ﷺ) prayed. Muslims visit it today to see its unique architectural style, and recall the relevant events in the life of the Prophet and his companions. more

It is a Prophetic prayer ground blessed with the virtue of precedence. It is the place where the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performed the first Friday prayer in Madinah after his emigration from Makkah. It is about 2,300 meters away from the Prophet’s Mosque. more

It is the place which Atban bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, asked the Messengerﷺ to pray at so that he would make the spot an in-house prayer place.
