An Overview:

Anbariyah Mosque is one of the historic mosques of Madinah. It is located in the Anbariya region. It was included in Madinah Station Project, which was the last station of the Hejaz Railway that connected Madinah and Damascus. Both the mosque and the station bear the name of the region.

Its Present Status:

The mosque receives great care and attention from the official authorities, which exert much effort to keep it standing like all the other ancient and historical mosques in Madinah. It is surrounded by a circular garden which adds elegance and beauty to the old building.

How to Get to the Mosque?

Anbariyah Mosque is located to the southwest of the Prophet’s Mosque, next to the Emirate of Madinah. It is approximately 1 km away from the Prophet’s Mosque, and can be reached via Omar bin Al-Khattab Road.
