It is an antique mosque built in the place where the Prophet (ﷺ) camped and inspected his army on the way to the Battle of Uhud, and chose those who would be fit to fight among his companions. He performed Asr, Maghreb, and Isha prayers in this place and stayed there over the night. more

The Prophet (ﷺ) placed fifty of his companions on a small mountain near the battlefield of Uhud, and ordered them not to leave their positions on the mountain whatever the circumstances. But they disobeyed his orders, so the Muslim army was defeated. more
